Youth Fitness Programs
 
As we are reading in the media, one in three teenagers have had, or are now experiencing the effects of depression.  Although many factors contribute to depression, two of the main reasons are body image and peer pressure.  The Youth Fitness Program we offer addresses these issues and many more. 

We approach the diet by assessing the client’s current dietary habits and inform them on the healthy choices they can make. Access to a registered Dietitian is available.

In the exercise component, the client will be instructed on the basic principles of health and fitness.  Each will be given an exercise program that best suits his or her needs, abilities and age. Areas that need improvement will be addressed in order to promote overall coordination and dexterity with the main goal being lifestyle change and active lifestyle continuance. 

By establishing fitness as a priority at an early age, a lifetime pattern can be established and carried into adulthood.
