Sport Specific Training
 

To maximize your potential in a particular sport, you must train for that sport specifically.  By training your muscles in a similar way as that of your sport, you will maximize your time effort, and workouts.  

Training haphazardly can result in lost energy,  injury or over training.  As an athlete, you can't afford either of these, if you want to stand beside your fellow competitors on race day.

Training effectively for your sport hinges on three main ideas:  

1) Knowing the bodily movements that are required for your sport.

2) How to maximize your potential in each of these movements.

3) Training at the proper intensities to allow yourself to peak at the appropriate time of your  competitive season.
